Bibelot Magazine

epercival collectionI have always loved THINGS.  If it is small, odd and in any way meaningful, I want it.  These are some of my favourites knick-knacks.

Clock-wise from far left: antique pipe of my Dad’s; hand-carved wooden bobbin-type thing (?); mother-of-pearl fish gaming counters; dried starfish; embroidered trinket bag; trinket box made from real walnut; engraved gourd rattle; sentimental pen-knife; soapstone Speak No Evil monkey; another trinket box made from real walnut; ‘E’ brass seal with mother-of-pearl handle; pewter owl of Athena, from the British Museum.
