As you may remember, my work is to be featured, along with that of 40 other artists, in the upcoming Amelia’s Colourful Colouring Companion. Each artist has produced one full-colour image and one black and white line drawing, ready to be coloured in. Amelia has been working really hard to get this published, but she needs funds! She’s started a Kickstarter campaign, which needs to be fully funded by 23rd November.

You needn’t give much – just £12 gets you a copy of the book, plus other treats – but of course, the more you give, the more you get! Have a look at the options on the right-hand side of the page and see what you think. With the colouring-in craze as huge as it is, the book will make a great Christmas present.
If you want to read more about my image, click here and read the interview I gave last month. Interviews with lots of the other artists involved are on the website too.
I am one of five lucky winners of the Zizzi competition! My menu design should be in restaurants from the end of March.
This year the Folio Society and House of Illustration competition was to illustrate three stories and the cover of Angela Carter’s The Bloody Chamber & Other Stories. As soon as I started reading I had a good feeling about it and I was right, this has been one of my all-time favourite projects. Front cover (rough only)

Zizzi (the restaurant) has this program ‘Fresh Talent’ for getting young creative types working for them. This is the second time they’ve run the ‘Deliciously Stylish’ competition, in which designers and illustrators can submit an image for the menu cover inspired by the above title. Here is my entry – a little chef/seamstress uses common Zizzi ingredients to sew together a deliciously stylish creation!
Cover: Meursault looks out over Algiers
The Funeral Procession: Perez lags behind.
At the beach, Meursault feels cleansed.
The Trial: at last Meursault sees Marie.
My submission to the recent House of Illustration/ Folio Society competition. Much enjoyed!
